Sherpa Romeo gives a summary of publishers’ open access archiving and publishing conditions for individual journals. The enhanced version of Romeo now has a completely upgraded underlying data model and provides users with an improved layout, with individual sections for each article version. Sherpa Romeo is a service that is operated and funded by Jisc to serve the needs of the open access community. It analyses the open access policies of publishers from around the world. We are therefore very pleased to say that we are a service that is used worldwide. In fact, over 80% of our usage is currently from overseas. Sherpa Romeo gives a summary of publishers' open access archiving conditions for individual journals.

A great festival held in the Khumbu area during the month of May or June every year amongst the Sherpa community. Along with serious rituals and dances performed by the monks, the festival is celebrated with dance and drink to honor the anniversary of Guru Rinpoche's birth on the lotus flower.
